A flashmob recreates Rembrandt’s painting, The Night Watch, in a shopping centre in Breda to mark the painting’s return to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The museum is due to reopen on 13 April following a 10-year renovation. The painting, completed in 1642, depicts Captain Frans Banning Cocq and his lieutenant, Willem van Ruytenburch, leading out their city guard, Schutterij [This caption was amended on 5 April 2013. The original said the event was in Amsterdam rather than Breda.
